Every number has a name, every name has a story and every story matters to God.
God is a God of movement and His goal is constantly to take us further, to face new challenges, to encourage us to take the next step …
And sometimes the impulse of God also involves stopping the race, facing our contradictions, crushing our ego and crying before Him. I remember a Sunday in February at the EPP where I simply needed to talk to God, to pour myself out in front of Him and cry tears.
For the first time, I knelt in a church at the time of worship. A great moment for my ego! I had always pushed back to other in other moments like this, out of pride and fear that others would judge me … That morning, I felt no misplaced eyes, no particular judgment, just my broken heart, God, and my caring EPP family all around me. This moment may seem like nothing, but I realized that for the first time, I trusted people around me, that I felt good, able to be 100% natural in a church, like at home. So, it’s still a lot. 🙂
EVERYONE HAS A STORY.
This year we have held onto the verse in Eph 3:20 that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or IMAGINE!
Every day we wake up, and as we focus on what God is doing in our lives and in our city and in our church, we are constantly amazed at his kindness and goodness. This life is truly beautiful and we wanted to share just one story of how God is impacting this city of Marseille.
Continue to pray for our team that God gives us a vision beyond what we could accomplish, so God is the only one we can boast of!
